My Story

I'm a mother, grandmother, divorcee, widow, friend, citizen and seeker...among other things. I've transitioned through any number of minor and major life events. Many were of my own choosing, many were not.

I chose job changes and relocations to different parts of the country. I chose to remarry. I chose to alter my spiritual path. I did not choose to be let go from a job, to be alone in a marriage, to be a caregiver, or to bury my husband, my son and my daughter. But I survived and have even thrived — I'm different at my core. I've learned how to transition and am still in process. My guess is that you are too.

I have hundreds of hours of coaching experience. My clients bring their hopes and dreams, their plans and their goals to our sessions. They also bring their fears and self doubt, their anxieties and discouragement. In our coaching sessions, we work together and I help them overcome what keeps them from moving in the direction they want to go. I help enable hope.

With a B.A. in Organizational Communication, and an MBA, I have over 25 years of experience in Training and Development in a variety of settings. In my role as Leadership Development Specialist I've coached managers to identify their strengths and opportunities so they could be the leaders they wanted to be. I've worked with individuals struggling financially, with folks who lacked clear goals or motivation, and those who had to make hard decisions. I have helped my clients uncover the mindsets that block them from moving forward and support them in their progress toward real change.

I am a graduate of Corporate Coach U with over 200 hours of coursework. I've achieved ICF (International Coaching Federation) certification - completing its rigorous certification requirements. I use a time-tested coach approach to accompany you as you move through the disruptions of life so that you can come out stronger and more in control.

Why is Certification Important?
Associate Certified Coach (ACC) Credential-holders are trained (60+ hours) and experienced (100+ hours) coaches. They have demonstrated knowledge and emerging proficiency in the application of the ICF Core Competencies, Coe of Ethics, and definition of coaching. Earners show a commitment to high ethical standards and have demonstrated, through rigorous assessment, professional competence in their work with clients. The ACC must be renewed every three years.

Issued by ICF Credentials and Standards
